Oatmeal Flax Chocolate Chip Cookies
With whole wheat flour, oats and flax seed, these cookies are so, so good and surprisingly healthy!

white whole wheat flour
1/2
cup
all-purpose flour
1
cup
oats
1/4
cup
flax seed
I use golden flax.

tsp
baking soda
1/2
tsp
salt

TBS
butter
1/4
cup
sugar
1/2
cup
packed brown sugar
2
large eggs
1
tsp
vanilla
1
cup
chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
Whisk together flour, oats, flax seed, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugars.
Add eggs and vanilla to sugar mix and beat until well combined.
Add dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto parchment paper lined baking sheets and flatten slightly with a spoon.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
