Holiday Breakfast Ideas: Family coming to stay this holiday season? Check out these breakfast and brunch ideas that are sure to be a hit with the family!

Last year, Gary and I began a new Christmas tradition. We worked together to prepare a special breakfast for a few members of our extended family. Even when we don’t have family joining us, I love the idea of preparing a special holiday breakfast each year. Since I’ll be 39 weeks pregnant this Christmas, preparing Christmas brunch may be a bit of a stretch. Instead, this year I’m thinking of preparing a special Thanksgiving breakfast. So far, these bite sized breakfast pigs in a blanket are at the top of my list. Originally posted last year, this recently updated recipe contains all new pictures and includes tips on how to make a delicious gluten free version, along with additional brunch ideas.

We have a breakfast tradition for Christmas where I prepare something that has to be made the evening ahead and then in the morning all I have to do is heat it up. All of our adult kids and now our grandson still come and spend the night Christmas Eve so we all wake up together to see what Santa left us. It is a tradition we all love. These look amazing to me and pretty simple. Thanks for sharing your recipe!

Just what one needs for breakfast something solid and hearty. Wishing you all the best for your delivery. I had two that were born in December… I call them my Christmas babies.
