A delicious gluten-free alternative to Rice Krispie treats. With an adorable pumpkin shape, these treats are the perfect touch for Halloween, Thanksgiving or fall themed parties!

Ingredients
6cupsPumpkin Spice Cheerios
3TBSbutter
1package10 oz. Jet Puffed Marshmallows
orange food coloringcan make your own w/red & yellow
10 to 20Tootsie Rolls
2TBSgreen frosting
Instructions
In large saucepan melt butter over low heat.
Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
Stir in food coloring. (see note)
Remove from heat.
Add Cheerios and stir until well coated.
While still warm but not hot, mold with wet hands into pumpkin shaped balls. (see note)
Allow to set for five minutes, then carefully press Tootsie Rolls into each pumpkin, reforming pumpkin shape as needed.
Allow to cool completely in fridge, then add leaves using a tube of green frosting.
Notes
The amount of food color varies. Use as much as you want to create the exact shade of orange that you wish. Likewise, the size of the pumpkins is up to you! We formed large pumpkins, about the height of, but wider than, a golf ball.
